I’m sitting still on my bed, staring at the blood writing on the cold, hard window.  Of course I don’t believe in a world beyond our own. It was probably just a criminal, trying to scare me and my family.  I hear a large thud and spin round swiftly to find my door wide open, but no-one there. I stand up to close the door, only to realise the horror of why the thud had occurred in the first place, I stood still, staring down at what should have been my floor, but all I saw was a pool of blood, lying in it, my poor cat Silver. The words “Who will be next?” scrawled into the pool of blood

I’m sitting in a room, it’s a cold, dark, dim, lonely room, but, it’s my room.  As I draw the blinds and close the curtains, I lie alone on my bed, thinking to myself of the many things that I think about, like the fact that my father is a heartless monster, who terrorises my mother and beats my older brother,  but that doesn’t scare me. I also think about how I have no social life, and spend hours lying on my bed, every single day, staring at a blank ceiling. But loneliness doesn’t scare me. Nothing scares me.

If you sit, If you stare, If you’re cut off from the world,
Just take a minute,
And look at people’s hearts,
Help them when in need,
Comfort them when filled to the brim with sorrow,
Love everyone, hate nobody,

Think, Just take a minute and watch people
And realise what really matters,
When you’re sitting on your own,
Felling sorry for yourself because the computer’s broken or the phone has died,
Think of the thousands, no, millions of starving children,
The dying men at war,
The helpless babies fighting for life,
The elderly women trying desperately to make it across the room,
And feel sorry for t
